Golf – Girls Varsity vs Taft School, Westover School – Away

It was a beautiful Monday afternoon as Girls Varsity Golf traveled to Watertown Golf Club to take on Westover and Taft. The sun was out as the temperatures got up to eighty degrees for the first time all year. Fresh off a win on Saturday KO carried that momentum to earn another victory today against Westover and held close against Taft with it all coming down to one match. Ilianna Brett ‘24 led us off with winning her westover match and losing to Taft on the very last hole keeping it close all the way through. Alexa Wolf ‘25 followed as our player of the day winning both her matches against Taft and Westover and medaling for KO with the best score. Avery Hersh ‘24 and Callahan Greig ‘29 followed with another pair of victories with Noa Taback ‘28 earning the tie on both her matches with a beautiful par on the last hole! We will carry this excitement with us into our next match as we are proud of our progress so far and made many friendships on the course today!
