JV Girls Soccer

The girls JV soccer team defeated Pomfret on Hewett Day 5-0.

From the beginning whistle the Wyverns took control of the game and pressured the Pomfret goal and defense throughout. Natalia Correa ’22 scored off a pass from Brooke Seaver ’21 13 minutes in and then she scored again 6 minutes later. Regina Miller ’22 scored her first goal of the season off a pass from Lian Wolman ’19 to make it 3-0 going into the half. In the second half Remy McCoy ’20 scored off a cross from Sloan Duvall ’21 7 minutes in and Jackie Dugan ’19 finished off the scoring with 22 minutes left in the game. GK Maeve McDonald ’19 and the defense held the Pomfret team to zero shots on net for the game.
