MS Field Hockey

The Middle School Field Hockey team came out on fire against Renbrook on Hewett Day Saturday.

The team quickly controlled the pace of the game and immediately put pressure of Renbrook’s defense and goalie. The entire team saw exciting opportunities on the field today. The Wyvern passing was quick, fast and effective against their opponents, something the team worked on all week leading up to Hewett Day. This helped the players score 8 goals during the contest. Six different players scored which shows their ability to work together and showcase their skills all over the field as a team, the goals were scored by Lia Arnold ‘25, Hadley Crowther ‘25, Chelsea O’Donnell ‘24, Emma Barringer ‘24, Alex Arnold ‘23 and three goals from Jordan DiMauro ‘23. Zora De Rham ‘23, Macey Kotowitz ‘25, and Meredith Decker ‘25 all had great defensive holds while Ysabel Albert ‘25 had several exciting saves on the day. Izzy Mendelovici ‘25 had several strong block tackles. Meghan Jo ‘25 had several great shots on goals and helped the team get a corner opportunity. An exciting game for the Wyverns in the cold rain. The team next takes on Foote at home on Wednesday 10/17.
