KO Hosted RCDS for the 2nd game of the season. KO jumped out to an early 2-0 lead as Dalton Smith ‘26 ( assist Krish Patel ‘26) at the 15 minute mark of the 1st period. Moments later, Colton Bischoff ‘26 would find Nick Humiston ‘29 on a pretty play to bring the score to 2-0 in favor of hte Wyvern. RCDS would rally for 2 scores of their own and pull even a the end of the 1st, 2-2. RCDS would score fist in the 2nd period, but KO would respond on a goal by Smith ‘26 (assist Ryan Munz ‘26) to pull even at 3-3. RCDS would respond with a short handed goal later in the period to go up 4-3 and would add another before the end of the 2nd period, giving RCDS a 5-3 lead after 2. Injury and and short bench put the Wyvern in a difficult position in the 3rd and would see RCDS add 4 goals in the 3rd period. KO would add 2 goals late by Krish Patel ‘26 to pull to 9-5. Shane Smith held down the crease for KO stopping 46 if 55 shots on net.
