JV Girls Soccer

In a hard fought battle, the JV girls soccer team tied 0-0 with Williston.

Having only 11 players, the Wyverns played hard every single minute of the game. We maintained possession and held Williston in their own half, but were unable to score off the numerous shots their stellar goalie saved. While the entire team was playing hurt, sore, and tired, it was the Wyverns defense of Alex Doering, Maddie Hemmerich and Bella Deurloo who shut down all of Williston’s attacks and prevented any shot on our own goal. Newly appointed captains Hannah Malkin and Yzzy Albert maintained the quick pace of the game and kept their team motivated and hustling for the duration. After a well deserved break this week, the JV girls soccer team looks forward to our first home game on 10/1 against Cheshire. GO Wyverns!
