Varsity Girls Lacrosse

The girls varsity lacrosse team lost a close game at Hamden Hall on Wednesday 11-10.

After getting off to a slow start and going down 4-0 because of turnovers, the Wyverns fought back to make it a 6-4 game at the half. In the second half, they scored the next two goals to make the game 6-6. The teams traded goals back and forth for the rest of the half. Unfortunately, up by a goal, HH won the last draw and ran out the clock for the win. Tori Swanson ’21 led the way with 3 goals, Molly Jones ’20 had 2 goals, and Nicole Genga ’19, Abby McLaughlin ’22, Remy McCoy ’20, Mia Seymour ’19, and Kathryn Westrick ’20 each scored a goal. Amelia Levine ’20 recorded 12 saves. This is her second game of recording more saves than goals against.
