Seniors Amelia Levine ’20 and Mai Lin Pomp-Shine ’20 led by example in the no. 3 and 7 spots, leaving everything on the court and encouraging their teammates to do the same. Levine had a hard-fought 3-0 loss and Pomp-Shine had a 3-0 win in which she claimed two of the games in extra points. Sloan Duvall ’21 and Amrita Natarajan ’22 made adjustments after difficult first games to win 3 straight games and take their matches 3-1 in the no. 4 and 6 spots. Ely Alleyne ’23 and Shreeya Chalikonda ’21 had clean 3-0 sweeps in the no. 5 and 8 spots, showcasing their clever shot selection during particularly intense points. We look forward to our match at Greens Farms next week, with High School Nationals coming up next weekend as well!
