KO traveled to Greens Farms Academy for a game that would end up in disappointment for the Wyverns.

With players missing from the starting line up in both midfield and defense, the opportunity for young freshman and sophomore players to gain important experience for the future was a positive.

The first half was played openly with opportunities for both teams to open the scoring. However, despite KO going very close to taking a lead, the half time score would be 0-0.

After starting the second half extremely well, KO would find themselves 1-0 early on as Greens Farms converted a chance from close range after the ball fell kindly for the opposition.

Within a few minutes of the deadlock being broken, Greens Farms was awarded a free kick around 30 yards from goal. From the resulting short pass, the Greens Farms Number 9 fired a rocket shot that hit the underside of the KO crossbar and nestled in the back of the net to make it 2-0.

KO began pushing players forward even more, which left them open at times in the back, but with nothing to lose they again created some excellent chances to score, but simply couldn’t find the finishing touch to get back into the game. Therefore, the score finished 2-0.
