KO traveled the short trip to play a strong Loomis side on their turf field and gave an excellent account of themselves in this matchup.

From the first whistle, KO worked extremely hard, and while defending for long periods of the opening half, they showed composure and resilience, continually blocking and denying the Loomis attacks.

After 25 minutes, it was clear that the home team was getting frustrated, as they were unable to break the KO defense down. Then just before the half hour mark, the referee quickly decided that an attempted cross hit the hand of left back Alex Ndiaye in such a manner that was worthy of a PK in the box. This allowed Loomis to open the scoring when the PK shot beat Priyam Chokshi.

The KO starting line up, obviously unhappy with the situation, had to gather their composure and attempt to continue in the same manner which had kept their opponents out.

Continuing on, the KO players never stopped working, but unfortunately, the score ended up being 2-0 at half time when Loomis added to their lead. With an upcoming game on Wednesday, and then another on Friday, it was important that everyone got minutes so some key players could rest.

Therefore, the bench was emptied, but the same hard working mentality was continued by all.
Unfortunately, the second half was always going to be tough, and the final score ended 4-0 to the home team.
