Against a very strong and experienced Taft team, KO gave another hardworking performance, but they were simply out matched by their opponents.

A strong opening 30 mins from the home team was met with resilience and tremendous effort from KO, despite the Wyverns missing three starting defenders and having four 14 year old freshman in the starting lineup.

Taft attacked in consistent waves, but the KO defense blocked shots and continued to soak up the pressure early on. However, Taft would find a way through and then add to the score to be 2-0 late in the first half. This would be the score at half time.

Play opened up in the second half – and as the game result was never in doubt – KO gave playing time to everyone who traveled.

Each individual on the field for KO gave their best, but the opposition were simply too strong and experienced on the day, and Taft got the result they deserved.
