Soccer – Boys Varsity vs The Loomis Chaffee School – Away

Varsity Boys Soccer v Loomis Chaffee

Tough start to Boys Varsity Soccer season.

The Kingswood Oxford boys soccer team opened the season Wednesday with one of the toughest games it will have all season and suffered a 7-0 loss at Loomis Chaffee School.  Captain Ryan Goss ’18 and Aidan Shea ’19 played well according to coach Hikmet Aslan.  ”Loomis is very talented, it’s like a college team and we gave up a few easy goals.” Aslan said. “We generated some chances but their goalie was equal to the task.”  While it wasn’t the game the Wyverns or coach Aslan were looking for, the team will be better off for it as the season goes along.  ”We are still learning to play together and be a team and getting experience like you do playing against Loomis will help us in coming games,” Aslan said. “We will be better because of it.”
