Win 4-2
Boys Varsity Soccer Continues Hot Start
Even with wet conditions, Wyvern Nation showed up at the Den to support their varsity soccer teams under Friday night lights. Thanks to a hat trick from Grant Daigle ‘24, the boys were able to defeat Trinity-Pawling, 4-2. The scoring began in the first half when Sam Cote ‘24 was assisted by Max Daigle ‘26, placing a great ball past the keeper. The first of Grant Daigle’s trio of tallies came unassisted after a mistake by the Pride defense. KO held a 2-0 halftime advantage for the third time in four games, and in the first minute out of the break, Jack Neikrie ‘25 found Daigle in the box for the eventual game-winning goal. Trinity-Pawling would score to make it 3-1, but the black and crimson never allowed the lead to get within a single goal on their home turf for the rest of the match.
The 3-0-1 Wyverns host Suffield Academy on Wednesday, October 4th at 3:00 pm.
