Win 2-1

After suffering their first defeat of the 2023 season, the Wyverns got back into the win column at Westminster. A scoreless first half saw the Martlets with more chances, but strong defensive play and goalkeeping from Will Slayton ‘24 and company kept it even. 

In the second half, Kaden Rodriguez ‘25 found Tyler Bergquist ‘27 on a corner kick to take the lead, but Westminster was hungry and tied the game back up. In the open field this time, Rodriguez again got the assist, finding Grant Daigle ‘24 streaking down the field. The senior netted his team-leading 8th goal of the season for the game-winner.

KO is 4-1-1 and hosts Kent on Wednesday, October 11th at 3:00 p.m.
