Win 6-1

The varsity girls soccer team had another nice win at home on the turf, this time taking down Canterbury school with a final score of 6-1. This was our best offensive output so far on the season. The Wyverns struck first scoring within the first 3 minutes of the game but Canterbury came back with a goal around the 6 minute mark to tie things up. As we tightened up our defensive line and got the ball moving up front we had multiple shot opportunities. At the half we had 12 shots on goal with 4 finding the back of the net. At that point the home team clearly had the momentum. The girls came out in the second half ready to build on this momentum and they did just that. We continued to control the ball possessions leading to 2 more goals and limiting the opportunities for Canterbury. Another strong team win for the Wyverns!
