Soccer – Girls Varsity vs Choate Rosemary Hall – Away

Varsity Girls Soccer

Girls’ Varsity Soccer traveled to Choate on Wednesday, October 17th and came away with a 0-2 loss.

It was a day of spectacular goal keeping by senior captain Charlotte Cyr ‘19. Cyr owned the net, making diving saves and tipping the ball over the crossbar on multiple occasions.  A communication error between the backs resulted in Choate’s first goal midway through the first half. In the second half, a quick counter attack resulted in a breakaway and Choate’s second goal. Cami Berckemeyer ‘19 did a fantastic job anchoring the defense and left everything she had on the field.  Likewise, Nicole Genga ‘19 sorted out the marks and kept working hard despite not feeling 100%
