The girls varsity soccer team gave the wild boars of Choate a run for their money in a hard fought game that ended with the boars winning 2-0. With a new formation and nothing to lose the wyverns came out and challenged the boars from the first whistle to the last horn. The game saw our midfield making multiple connections and runs into our offensive end of the field where our forwards put pressure on the Choate backs. On the defensive end our midfield and back line covered and closed out the boars and when they got a shot off our goalie shut them down with an impressive array of saves. This was one of our best displays of soccer this season. As always it was a total team effort and the coaches couldn’t be more proud of how our girls represented themselves and KO soccer!
