Varsity Girls Soccer

Girls’ Varsity Soccer traveled to Kent on October 7th and came away with a 5-1 win.

Patient in the attack, KO looked to connect passes and slowly but surely we found a way in behind the Kent defense with Jamie Scarpantonio ‘20 beating a couple of Kent players before calmly placing it in the back of the net. During the second half, the weather took a turn for the worse yet that change seemed to spark the Wyverns to 4 more goals. Ainsley Vaughn ‘20 made several well timed runs and capitalized twice on her chances.  Catherine Daniels ‘21 and Sophia Schultz ‘21 both found themselves 1v1 with the Kent goal keeper and both struck the ball beautifully into the back of the net. KO continues their road show with a short trip to Ethel Walker on October 11th and then Pomfret on October 12th.
