Soccer – Girls Varsity vs Kent School – Away

Tie 1-1

The varsity girls soccer team came home with a 1-1 tie against Kent. The wyverns were immediately putting pressure on the lions defense early in the game yet it was the lions who scored first. Coming out of halftime down 1-0 the wyverns regrouped and began to play at a higher level. Again we had the advantage when it came to possessing the ball and a hand ball in the box against a Kent player led to a goal off the PK for our wyverns. Though our players continued to move the ball well in our attacking end and we got multiple shots off we just couldn’t get the ball in the net. As always we will learn from this game and move forward as we look ahead to our upcoming game against Pomfret.
