Loss 0-6

The varsity girls soccer team traveled to Windsor on a warm fall day to take on the pelicans of Loomis. The wyverns knew the pelicans would come out ready to redeem their 1-0 loss from last fall. Our girls were in the game through the first 40 minutes and though the Pelicans possessed the ball the majority of that time they were only up 2-0 at the half. The second half saw the pelicans really putting the pressure on which resulted in a couple of quick goals. Our girls kept fighting and got a few shots on goal off of some nice passing sequences but it just wasn’t meant to be with a final score of 6-0 for Loomis. As Coach Sal said ” this game will only make us a better team”.
