The Boys JV Tennis made it two wins in a row on Wednesday by defeating visiting Cheshire Academy in a very close match 5:4. Despite missing two players, the rest of the team stepped up and contributed both by playing hard and enthusiastically supporting one another. After KO won two out of three doubles, Matthew Habeeb (‘27) and Corey Nguyen (‘26) both won convincingly in singles. Cheshire was able to storm back and tied the match at 4:4. However, number 4 singles player, Hayen Saleem (‘28), took care of business and won easily, clinching the tie for the Wyverns. Congratulations to the whole team! They will try to make it three wins in a row when they play at the Westminster School next Wednesday.
