Tennis – Boys JV vs Suffield Academy – Away

JV Boys Tennis

The Boys’ JV Tennis team traveled to Suffield Academy on a windy and sunny Wednesday afternoon and came short, losing 1:8. Despite seemingly one-sided loss, many of the matches were closely contested and in some of the matches our players were ahead until the latter stages of the contest. Kiran Sekaran, at #2 singles, played a competitive, long singles match displaying some great shot making (volleys and drop shots), but came up short 5:8. The team of Beckett Dodd (‘27) and John Pavano (‘26) won the Wyverns’ only match by playing a consistent game and staying focused despite the other team’s occasional distractions. Our next match is on Saturday 4/27 at Avon Farms.
