Tennis – Boys Varsity vs Cheshire Academy – Home
Boys Varsity Tennis
Both teams came into the match a bit shorthanded, missing a couple of players from their lineups. Fortunately, everyone played well en route to a victory with solid doubles and consistent singles play. Will Maclean did a great job to step up at both #1 doubles (with Ciaran Concepcion) and #2 singles. Saahit Gaddipati and Jacob Barash earned straight set victories at #3 and #4 respectively. Congrats to Noah Sadowsky, who earned his first varsity singles victory at #6. The match of the day was at #5, as Logan Barash came back from a 7-4 deficit to earn an 8-7 (7-3) victory over a player whose game is filled with talent and shot making despite having only played for a couple of years. Next up is a showdown at Westminster on Monday, which promises to be an extremely close match as the teams are evenly matched.
