Varsity Boys Tennis

On Wednesday afternoon, KO traveled to Deerfield, Mass to take on a strong Deerfield Academy team. 

After losing a hard fought doubles point (Deerfield won at #2 and #3 doubles, KO won at #1 doubles – William Appleton ’18 + Luke Riemann ’19), KO was confronted with having to win 4 out of the 6 singles matches. As it turned out, Deerfield won all of the singles matches with the exception of #1 singles, which KO’s Luke Riemann (’19) won in a third set super tiebreaker (10-6). Deerfield’s experience and strong play proved to be too much, as KO’s young squad was outplayed on this day. Next up for KO is an away match @ Gunnery.
