Tennis – Boys Varsity vs Taft School – Away

Boys Varsity Tennis

Due to bad weather, we played into the evening on Taft’s four indoor courts. The fast surface put serving at a premium, and despite our best efforts, we fell by a score of 6-1.The #1 doubles team of Concepcion and Blair played quite well en route to a 8-5 win, but Taft was too strong at #2 an #3 doubles to secure the point. Our lone singles victory came at #5 (Saahit Gaddipati), who won his supertiebreaker 10-1. Unfortunately, we lost supertiebreakers at #2 (Pratt Blair) and #4 (Neil Reddy), and fell in straight sets at 1, 3, and 6. Next up is another way at Berkshire.
