JV Girls Tennis secured their third win on Wednesday with a hard-fought 4-3 victory over Miss Porter’s. It was a fantastic day of tennis, set against the backdrop of stunning outdoor conditions. Anna Ruiz ’28 and Francesca Lamattina ’25 delivered impressive performances in their singles victories. Meanwhile, Margaret Miller ’25 and Layla Hall ’27 battled valiantly against skilled opponents, each narrowly falling short by just two games.
In doubles play, the team of Delphine Lamattina ’27 and Anna Ruiz ’28 shone with exceptional play at the net, while Jenna Kanaan ’25 and Alyssa Tousignant ’25 demonstrated the poise and skill they are known for, with both pairs securing victories. Ava Patel ’28 and Nora Gerrits ’28 showcased tremendous perseverance in their doubles match, displaying promising potential for growth in the years to come.

JV Wyverns Tennis will take on Westminster this Saturday at 1:30 PM on their campus in Simsbury. Let’s go, Wyverns!
