JV Girls Tennis

JV Girls Tennis faced a talented Miss Porter’s squad on Wednesday, featuring some of the best tennis JV has played this year.

Although the final tally was 1-6, Alyssa Tousignant ‘25, Audrey Karasik ‘24, and Margaret Miller ‘25 played very well against opponents with whom they were very evenly matched. In fact, Audrey Karasik ‘24 played the longest single game of our season so far, finally winning 9-8. Diya Mistri ‘24 held her own against a very skilled Porter’s player, while Jada Asapokhai ‘23 had her first game in a KO uniform, so kudos to her for stepping up! On the doubles side, Francesca Lamattina ‘25 and Nihdi Bhat ‘25 played well together, while Kaitlyn Finnerty ‘23 and Saanve Bathula ‘24 enjoyed their first game together as partners. We look forward to our match against Westminster this Saturday!
