Varsity Boys’ Soccer vs Westminster School – Home

V Boys Soccer

The Varsity soccer team took on a very talented Westminster on Saturday and saw an unfortunate 2-0 loss.

The boys had a very strong first half with many scoring opportunities. They were disappointed with the chances they missed, and not capitalizing on those led to a frustrating way to end the half. On a bright side, Junior Goalie Will Slayton’24 made some big saves to keep the score 0-0.
In the second half Westminster answered quickly with an early goal giving them a 1-0 lead. This forced the wyverns to look for answers, they decided to change the system of play in hope of scoring, but it unfortunately didn’t work. Due to the amount of people upfront and lack of defenders in the new system Westminiser scored another late goal to end the game 2-0. They boys look to come back on Wednesday where they play Kent away.
