JV Volleyball

After our last game, the team discussed the things we needed to work on, and we decided that the name of the game would be “focus” this time around.

In our first straight-set win of the season, we demonstrated our commitment to improving that focus. Some highlights of the game were Lucia Martinez-Castro ’23 taking on the front middle position for the first time and staying aggressive, and Serafina Squatrito ’22 shifting to outside hitting and producing some unstoppable finishes to the plays set up by the rest of the team. At the service line, Hailey Williams ’23 and Olivia Pear ’21 brought us back from a major deficit in the third game so we could clinch the straight-set win.
