JV Volleyball

KO’s JV Volleyball team won its season opener on Wednesday at Ethel Walker School, 3 – 0. Each player contributed to the day’s success, by communicating, working hard, and hustling on the court. Of particular note was some strong serving, with aces earned by captain Sienna DuBois ’26, Zil Desai ’27, Lidia Martinez-Castro ’27, and Rachael Segal ’28. Offensively, the team had strong hitting, with kills from co-captain Layla Hall ’27, Tara Mahoney ’27. and Desai. Defensively, Lei Gonzalez ’27 had some great saves at libero.
