JV Volleyball

After manufacturing an exciting comeback in the first game, KO JV volleyball was prepared to go the distance once again and pull off a thrilling 3-2 win in the fifth set against Hopkins.

This time it was more of a rollercoaster of successful playmaking and regrouping, and the team made sure to execute at crucial moments to take the first, third, and fifth sets. Throughout the game, steady passing from Melissa Hasbrouck ’21 and Aliza Sadiq ’22 in the back row laid the foundation for the success of our offensive plays. On offense, Hailey Williams ’23 launched low and powerful serves over the net to give us an advantage from the get-go and boosted the team’s spirits. We would be remiss to forget mentioning one of our managers, Eli Brandt ’23, who handled his first day of managing the book with skill and poise, despite some particularly tricky scenarios on the court. We look forward to our first away game on the 21st!
