Quinn O’Brien, the varsity girls basketball head coach at KO, brings 17 years of coaching experience, with the last seven dedicated to shaping young Wyvern athletes. A former college basketball player, O’Brien was a key part of the coaching staff for the 2015 CIAC Class L runner-up team. His coaching philosophy emphasizes that “team beats talent when talent isn’t a team,” reflecting his belief in the power of unity and collective effort. Passionate about high school coaching, O’Brien finds it a privilege to guide students through their formative years, contributing to their personal growth and helping them achieve their goals. For him, being a part of this developmental journey and aiding players in understanding what truly matters in life is both meaningful and rewarding.
