The Wyvern boys squash team challenges itself annually by competing in the Founders League, NEPSAC, and attending High School Nationals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, every year. This has transitioned to recent success, winning New Englands in 2019, 2020, and 2022 and being finalists in 2004 and 2018. The program practices at Kingswood Oxford’s Highland Street Courts, where spectators can watch matches at the four-court facility.

Head Coach Robby Lingashi does an incredible job ensuring the team is adequately prepared for every match and instilling his wealth of knowledge and passion for the game in his players. He combines conditioning with specific technique training to ensure that the players are at their optimum.

Coach Lingashi is also the WSC Squash Director. A native of Zambia, where he was the 10-time national champion, Robby Lingashi has extensive coaching experience at the collegiate and national levels. He is ranked among the top 60 squash players in the world by the World Squash Federation and has been a major force in the sport’s growth in his native country. Robby is a certified Level 1 and Level 2 instructor by the United States Squash Racquets Association (USSRA). Lingashi was the assistant head squash professional at the Hartford Golf Club from 2002-12. He joined the Kingswood Oxford community in November 2013.

All Kingswood Oxford athletes have access to our 33-acre campus, with multiple playing fields, an artificial turf field, a multi-purpose fieldhouse, a yoga studio, and two fitness centers. Certified athletic trainers are on hand every day to ensure the health, well-being, and development of every student-athlete. Every team also reflects the school’s core values, demonstrating honesty, integrity, and respect, learning with passion, and caring beyond self.
