WSC FAQ’s

Wyvern Squash Club operates within a school-based facility, which means Kingswood Oxford squash teams have priority use during the academic season.

During the school squash season (approximately November–February):

• Weekdays: KO teams use all courts from 2:30–6:00 PM

• Saturdays: On 4–6 Saturdays, courts are reserved for KO matches

Member play is available outside of these windows, including:

• Weekday mornings and evenings

• Weekend hours when not reserved for school matches

• School breaks, holidays, and summer months (expanded access)

Wyvern Squash Club is proudly part of Kingswood Oxford School. Supporting KO students and teams is central to our mission and allows us to maintain a world-class squash facility for the entire community.

• Through August 31, 2026: Only Core Memberships will be offered

• Beginning September 1, 2026: Both Core and Premier Memberships will be available

• Members from 2025 have been granted free membership until Sept. 1, 2026 due to the interruption of play during the construction of the new courts.

A Wyvern Affiliate Member is a non-KO family or individual who joins the club through Wyvern Squash Club programming.

We recommend that regular players have their own racquet, goggles and squash balls. New players are welcome to start with loaner equipment when available but for health concerns, should purchase a pair of goggles. Balls are provided during squash clinics.

Yes, the WSC requires all players to wear protective eye goggles to prevent injuries that may occur on the courts.

Wyvern Squash Club offers:

• New squash balls (all speeds)

• Junior and adult squash racquets (select models)

• Grips and accessories

Our staff is happy to help players choose equipment that fits their age and skill level.

Yes. Professional stringing services are available on site.
