On the Town Wins Best High School Musical

Once again, KO’s Theater department won the Halo Award for Best High School Musical for its production of On The Town. That is four awards for Best Musical in six years! Extraordinary! Betsy Slifka ’26 (Claire) won Best Standout Performance of a Female in a Musical. The play was nominated for 10 Halo Awards in total. The Seven Angels Theater Halo Awards are a “red carpet” event for high school students, loosely based on Broadway’s Tony Awards. The program celebrates outstanding performances and technical achievements across more than 100 schools.
