Raising Voice in Song

The Connecticut Northern Regional Honor Choir was held on March 12, and KO had eight singers selected for these Honors Ensembles.

These singers all learned a classical vocal solo and two required scales and arpeggios that were video recorded and submitted to a panel of judges for review.  Every KO student that submitted an audition video was accepted to an Honor Choir!

The six singers selected for the Mixed Choir include:

Riley Anderson ’26

Gordon Beck ’26

Jason Chen ’26

Marlee Diana ’26

Riley Mapp ’26

Molly Palmer ’27

The two singers selected for the Treble Choir as they had the highest overall scores include:

Annie O’Connor ’27

Leo Kollen ’26

The vocalists spent a snowy Saturday working with some of the finest guest conductors and accompanists to prepare and perform four new musical works.  It was an exciting and fulfilling day!
