The Kingswood Oxford ice hockey program competes in the FAA and NEPSAC leagues, drawing student-athletes who embrace challenge on and off the ice. Playing out of South Windsor Arena, the Wyverns benefit from their own locker room, video capabilities, and holiday practice ice. Each year, the team hosts “Hockey Night,” a spirited fundraiser for Team Tobati in honor of Ryan Gordon.

Head Coach Hissick seeks players with mental toughness, discipline, and a strong work ethic, emphasizing resilience, preparation, and off-ice training. KO athletes also enjoy access to premier facilities—including turf and grass fields, a fieldhouse, fitness centers, and certified athletic trainers—while upholding the school’s core values of integrity, respect, passion, and caring beyond self.
