Wyvern varsity volleyball exemplifies the true meaning of teamwork on and off the court and raises the level of competition for anyone they play against. Earning a NEPSAC postseason appearance at the end of the season is nothing strange for the Wyvern volleyball team, which boasts a record of excellence. The Kingswood Oxford volleyball program has earned a reputation as one of New Englandā€™s top prep school programs. Competing in the Founders League and NEPSAC Class B, the Wyverns are among the top teams in the league year in and year out. The team has made the postseason every year since 2017 and has been to the championship game seven times since 2000, winning four titles (2000, 2005, 2006 and 2007). The team is coached by Joe Sobowicz who has coached many highly decorated volleyball players including: 23 All-Conference, 12 All-State, and 2 All-New England.
