Baseball – Boys MS A vs Rumsey Hall School – Away

MS A Baseball

The KO MS A Baseball team lost to Rumsey Hall 11-3.

Against a much older opponent, KO competed well against Rumsey. Devin Wolff ’23 started the game, throwing two strong innings. The second was particularly impressive, as he struck out the side in a 1-2-3 inning. Jack Decker ’24 came in to relieve him, giving it his all to get through 1 ⅔ innings. Cole Banning ’24 finished the game on the mound and did a great job throwing strikes against a tough lineup. At the plate, even though KO did not score until the 7th inning, the team had runners on base in nearly every inning. Ben Stengel ’23 got on base twice, including on a ground ball that forced an error and led to two runs. A late rally in the 7th allowed KO to get 3 runs on the board and end the game positively. The Wyverns look to start a new winning streak against Hopkins on Wednesday.
