Hopkins scored all 3 of their runs in the top of the first inning. In the bottom of the first Jimmy DiVirgilio ’18 singled and Mark Place ’18 doubled before Tim Cotter ’20 scored DiVirgilio with a sac fly. Ben Tauber ’18 scored on a sac fly by Nick Cannata ’20 in the second inning to make the score 3-2, but that was all the offense the Wyverns could produce.
