V Baseball

The Wyverns got off to a slow start and found themselves behind 4-0 after two innings in a game played at Hotchkiss. KO got on the scoreboard in the fourth inning when John Kumpa singled in a run to make the score 4-1. In the fifth inning the Wyverns scored 3 to tie the score 4-4. Nate Bowes led off the top off the 7th inning with a home run to give KO a 5-4 lead and later in the inning Adam Merritt doubled in two more runs to make it 7-4. Sean Habeeb pitched the first 5 innings and was relieved by Luke Polley who threw two scoreless innings to get the win.
