Varsity Baseball

Varsity Baseball gets league win over Hotchkiss on Tuesday.

Evan Moore ’19 and Tim Cotter ’20 combined to shutout Hotchkiss 3-0. Moore pitched 6 innings striking out 10 to get the win, and Cotter pitched the seventh inning to earn the save.  Jimmy DiVirgilio ’18 hit a 2 run homer in first inning to give the Wyverns a 2-0 lead. In the fifth DiVirgilio singled and scored on a single by Cotter. DiVirgilio and Jake Rowland ’18 each had two hits for the Wyverns.
