In a tough game against Williston Northampton, the Wyverns went on the road one last time to try and secure a victory. WNH came out strong and pulled ahead quickly during the first half, and it wasn’t until 2 minutes in that KO secured its first points. WNH quickly racked up seven fouls placing the teams in “one-and-one” shooting, and the Wyverns were able to turn a 20-point deficit into an 8-point deficit for the better part of the first half. Williston pulled ahead and despite intense and deliberate defense, KO was down 48-33 at the half. Ben LaFreniere ’25 had a bang up first half with 13 points (two of which were three’s from the arc), and freshmen Beckett Ryan ’27 and John Sokale ’27 both put points on the board. As the second half began, KO was determined to make a run, and with four minutes left in the game the score was 75-70 and it couldn’t have been closer. With a flurry of 3’s and a number of successful stops, WNH brought home their win with a final score of 91-74. Great season team, we end the winter 8-5. Go KO!
