Basketball – Boys MS B vs Williston Northampton School – Home

MS B Boys Basketball

KO starts the season strong but falls just short in its home opener.

MS Boys B basketball against Williston North Hampton school. Williston 33 Kingswood Oxford 30.

The Match up proved to be a close going back and forth till the very last shots which KO could not make to force it to overtime. The hard fought game saw tremendous effort and enthusiasm by KO as a team. Every member of the KO team found his way onto the court and contributed to keeping the game tight. Though KO came up short on the scoreboard it was a great game with good sportsmanship all around. Most importantly the game came down to the finale shot. Some stand out performances were made by several KO players.  Form 2 Lucas Wells led KO in scoring with 16 points keeping us in the game. Form 1 Conor Budzick dominated inside rebounding and blocking many shots. Lastly great defense and guard play came from Form 1 players Ethan Gingeleski and Nico Seymour.  There is no doubt KO will bounce back and be ready to compete hard again next game.
