MS A Girls Basketball

In its first game of the year, the MS Girls A basketball team beat Hopkins 46-16.

This was a strong showing in all phases of the game. Despite a slow offensive start, the Wyverns played tenacious defense, forcing multiple turnovers, and allowing only 4 points in the first half. Emily Knowles ’25 eventually got the offense rolling and scored 14 points in the first half. She finished the game with 18 points. In the second half, Jordan DiMauro ’23 and Kyra Dunnirvine ’23 helped KO seal the victory, with DiMauro scoring 10 points and Dunnirvine scoring 12. Overall, this was a thrilling performance for KO, aided by contributions from every player. The team should be proud of its start to the season, and looks forward to more successes after winter break.
