Basketball – Girls MS A vs Renbrook School – Away

MS A Girls Basketball

The Wyverns traveled up the mountain to their cross-town rival Renbrook, looking to avenge a loss from earlier in the season. The first half saw a back and forth battle with neither team gaining more than a three point lead. The Wyverns trailed by three going into halftime, but came out in the third quarter hungry. Once the team retook the lead, they never looked back and won going away with a final score of 36-27.

Naomi Diffenderfer lead the way with 25 points and tremendous defense in Renbrook’s fantastic leading scorer. The team played extraordinary team defense, anchored by Callie Greig, Vivian Regan (who splashed in a couple beautiful jumpers), and Cora Dunbar. Serena Zhou and Eliana Gauvin provided crucial sparks off the bench with Gauvin coming up with several big time plays/rebounds in the final minutes!

It was a total team effort and great win heading into our final two games of the season!
