The KO MS A basketball team got back in the win column with a victory over Wilbraham & Monson 35-17.
This was probably KO’s best game of the year, as each player contributed in some way, and everyone played smart team basketball. Ahead 22-4 at halftime, the Wyverns were in control the entire game, despite a late scoring run by Wilbraham. Georgia Louis ’24 had another great game, leading the team with 13 points. Margaret Kinney ’25 also got on the board for the first time, scoring 6 points. Jenna Kanaan ’25 was also a big help and scored 4 points. Beyond these numbers, the game was filled with good ball movement, tough defense and strong rebounding. This was not an easy win, but KO came out playing their best from the start. Hopefully the team can build on this great performance in its next game against Foote on Wednesday.
