Basketball – Girls MS B vs Ethel Walker School – Away

MS B Girls Basketball

7 girls traveled to Ethel Walker and held their own against a larger and more experienced team.

While the game score says it was a loss, the girls played their hearts out and made much improvement over their first game.  Ava Leshem, Margaret Miller, and Addisen Nicholson led at different times from the point and made things happen with their ball-handling and drives to the basket.  Hana Haxhaj and Meredith Decker were relied on as forwards both on offense for their post moves and defense for their rebounds.  Alyssa Tousignant and Jenna Kannan played were steady players as small forwards.  Hana and Ava were our top scores with 4 points each.  Alyssa played in her first game ever and did an excellent job and had many steals.  Overall, I am proud of the team and look forward to the rest of the season and even more improvement.
