MS B Girls Basketball

Wow, did our team come out scrappy and energized. Every player played their heart out, and every player added to the game, whether it be in strong defense, good rebounding, or excellent offense. Each player has shown improvement, dedication, and drive. Coach Repp and I are so proud of each player’s growth! We are a basketball team! While the outcome of the game was not what we wanted, we outscored Ethel Walker in the 2nd half, and really made a comeback. Birthday Girl, Addisen Wenzel ‘32 scored 11 points; what a birthday present! Casey Salzman ‘32 and Shyna Upadhyay ‘32 each added four points. Mia Jacobson ‘32 found her confidence once again and was a steady presence in the post, seeing the floor and our plays expertly. Linnea Fazzino ‘32 and Hallie Sadowsky ‘32 have shown great improvement in their offense, finding the open spot and even driving to the basket! It was clear that the team’s hard work in practice over the past two weeks has allowed them to come together to play as a team much more fluidly. And… we are still having fun! We look forward to an even better game against Wilbraham and Monson and maybe even a “W” on Feb. 18th in the KO Fieldhouse.
