MS B Girls Basketball

Our home match on Valentine’s Day against the Foote School showcased our shooting, our rebounding and our teamwork. The entire team contributed both offensively and defensively as we dominated the boards, the shots, and the drives to the basket.  Our passes in the paint were on the mark resulting in many layups and short jumpers, and our boards were led by the powerhouse, Lilly Evans ‘29.  Suri Maru ‘29 played strong defense and offensively found herself on the block shooting at the hoop!  Each team member contributed, Charlotte Needham ‘29, Elena Rivera ‘29, Caroline Sams ‘29, Jamie Touch ‘30, and Ella Ristaino ‘29 each scored a basket, while Cate Needham ‘30 and Giselle Brighthaupt ‘29 added 4 points each.  Our top scorers, Lilly Evans ‘29 and Sydney St. Clair ‘29 each had 8 points to round out our score.  This team of girls are tenacious and determined, while also playing like a team.  Coach Snyder and I look forward to our last game of the season next week away against Renbrook.
