Girls MS B Basketball

In our 2nd game of the year, our girls played well, even though the score did not show it.

I am proud of the excellent defense and grit that our entire team showcased against a much larger, older, and more experienced team.  They have begun to truly understand the subtleties of zone defense!   Raisa Khaled and Sarah Cao led the team with their rebounds and tenacity. Our point guards, Mia Brown, Madi Oh, Madison Bromberg, and Olivia Dufrense- Achatz did an excellent job taking care of the ball and making sure that plays happened.  Eve Repp was an all around player, helping to bring the ball up the court as well as making some key rebounds.  Alexa Prahl found the open spot and made some excellent shots on offense.  Sarah Cao energized the team with her strong drives to the basket which resulted in points on the score board.  Ava Cashman, Jillian Alexander, Taryn Roth, and Hana Haxhaj were key players as they found the open spots on offense and had such determination on defense.  I am proud of my team and look towards a win this Saturday at home against Renbrook.
